Dr. Bhupesh Kumar is Acting Director and Associate Professor at Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, a NAAC "A" Accredited Institution, Affiliated to GGSIP University, New Delhi, India. Previously he was Placement Officer and assistant Professor at BCIHMCT, New Delhi. Dr. Kumar received his Ph.D. in Tourism and Hospitality Sevices from IGNOU, New Delhi. Also, he is a Graduate in Hotel Management and Masters Degree in Tourism Management.
He is having a good experience of 19 years in Academics and Training. Dr. Kumar is the Chief Editor of the Indian Journal of Applied Hospitality and Tourism Research, and in the review board of International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management and Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Also he is the Member of Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR), New Delhi since 20th May, 2016.
An inclined researcher he has published research works in International Journals on different topics like Employee empowerment and Service quality, HR issues and Crisis Management  in Hotels etc. He has authored manuscripts on various hotel Management subject for Frank Bros Publishers.
