Situated in a balmy green environment near the business centre Nehru Place at Kalkaji in New Delhi, BCIHMCT has the most modern campus & developed infrastructure in India amongst the Hotel Management Institutes in India. Modern training restaurants with display bar counters, banquet hall, multi utility hall, food production practical labs of contemporary design, lobby and front office with latest software and other amenities form part of the prestigious Institute. Spacious air conditioned classrooms with facilities of latest teaching aids, Wi-Fi enabled campus and computer labs with dedicated leased line for internet utilization, up to date housekeeping lab, automated and electronic library with a large collection of latest books, journals & magazines justify the claim that the infrastructure of BCIHMCT is among the best. The Chandiwala Estate has a state of the art sports centre and a 240 seat modern Auditorium for student’s all round development in different aspects of the Hospitality Industry & two seminar halls. It also has a hospital, a bank and hostels for boys & girls.

Classrooms and Labs

The classrooms of BCIHMCT provide the most conducive atmosphere for focused discussions between the students and the faculty. Each classroom is equipped with training aids including LCD Projectors and Wi-Fi facility to augment interactive learning. The classrooms are air-conditioned, spacious and well ventilated to facilitate the teaching learning process. The faculty members and students use these aids on a routine basis to enhance the overall effectiveness of teaching learning.

Audio Visual Room

Institute has an exclusive Audio Visual (AV) Room for an effective and efficient use of the latest AV tools. Students are encouraged to develop analytical presentation skills to build confidence. Available AV aids are LCD projectors and Amplifier with speakers.

Computer Lab / Language lab

Knowledge of computers is a must in today’s environment. Keeping in mind the students' interest the Institute has two air-conditioned Computer labs with fiber based internet access. Computer application is a part of the curriculum. Apart from that you will be required to use the computer lab for completing projects and other assignments.

The Two Computer Labs at the Institute are equipped with latest configured computers with student terminal ratio as 1:6. All computers in the Institute are connected through Local Area Network. Licensed System and application software are available to cover the entire syllabus.

A language lab is a dedicated Computer lab equipped with latest computer with audio-mic facility for language learning where students access audio or audio-visual materials. They allow a teacher to listen to and manage student audio, which is delivered to individual students through headsets.

Front Office Lab

It helps train students in guest reservation reception and billing. There is focus on building a face to face interaction with guests. Telephonic and electronic systems (fidelio, fax, EPABX etc.) also allows in effective and efficient guest service guest – service provide interface. It boosts the student's confidence and strengthens the vital ability to learn and develop a hospitality service orientation.

Laundry with linen Room

For training students in five star hotel’s laundry services with modern equipment maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at the workplace with regard to guest linen, restaurant linen and uniforms. It has provision for hot/cold wash, tumble/spin drying & ironing.

Bakery and Confectionary

To impart training in baking and confectionery with latest types of ovens and confectionery equipment. A hot kitchen aids in the grooming of students into skilled bakers, confectionery artists and pastry chefs.

For imparting individual cooking practice to first year students.It is equipped with the state of the art kitchen appliances. The training includes the basic understanding of the fundamental cooking concepts.

For training third year students in a La carte preparations which are served in the multi-cuisine restaurant during the practical session. It is equipped with combo cooking ranges, ovens, grillers, tandoors. International cuisine covers Continental, Chinese, Japanese (Oriental) Indian (muglai-chettinad) cuisine.

It is the cold kitchen for butchery & preparation of salads etc,equipped with deep freezer and a walk-in cold room. Here provisions of perishable nature are hygienically stored preserving original taste and texture of the food items etc.

To impart training to second year students for large scale service, there is a large dinning hall which has the appropriate furniture and fixtures, a pantry and wash-up area.

Advance Thematic Training Restaurant with Mock Bar

For third year student learning silver/trolley (gueridon) service where the motto is “Guest Service starts with a smile”, It is equipped with quality crockery, cutlery, glasses, bar appliances, good quality furniture and fixtures .Special emphasis is laid on teaching bartending and mixology which is a science as well as an art.

There is a model guest suite, created for housekeeping training. It has a hotel guest room furnished with furniture and fixtures, guest linen and other amenities. The room is well laid out simulating the actual of a star hotel room environment.

For second year students this kitchen is well equipped for bulkcooking practicals. It is basically used for bulk cooking catering to banquet functions which are held on a large scale.

Library

With facility of e-Library and e- Journal Library is the greatest asset for students. It is required that you maintain decorum and absolute silence at all times in the library.

The primary repository of learning and knowledge at the Institute is the library with over 5000 meticulously selected books, journals and magazines in related area besides periodicals and journals providing needful reference material for research. A book bank facility in the library caters a set of standard textbooks covering all the subjects of a semester for each student. This set is provided to each student in the beginning of the semester. It has a modern, well stocked air-conditioned automated library which provides vital support to teaching and learning activities. Photocopy facility is available to the students in the library.

All students will be issued 2 Library Cards against which books will be issued. Any tampering, marks, scribbling, tearing of pages amount to misconduct and will attract disciplinary action as deemed appropriate. Books should be returned within the stipulated duration for which they are issued. Students will be required to pay Rs 10/- fine per day after the expiry of the date of return of books.

It is required that silence be maintained at all times in the Library. If there is any query contact the Library In charge. No eatables & mobile phones are allowed inside the library.

Auditorium & Conference Room

The Institute has state-of-the-art auditorium, which is equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment in a centrally air-conditioned environment. The auditorium is used for hosting intra and inter-college event like seminars, conference, debates and cultural activities. It is a most happening place where socio-technical interaction occurs between the students, faculty and experts from industry and academia. An air-conditioned conference room is provided to hold meetings and presentations of the students’ projects to the expert groups and the faculty.

Separate hostel for boys and girls with well-furnished ambience and ventilated rooms along with amenities available near the BCIHMCT building inside the Campus. They have well furnished and ventilated rooms along and other necessary amenities to give student rest and comfort after hard day of work.
